Review: Not many dog friendly garden centres about weirdly. Have visited a few times before and used the cafe. This time was told to move and sit in the dog area of the cafe which was basically in the shop. So my dog was not settled as everyone walking past. Made to feel very unwelcome not being allowed to sit in the cafe. Very disappointed. For that reason we only had a drink and chose not to have food there. Signage wasn’t clear that dogs can only be in certain area.

Review: Really good garden centre, we have ended up having lunch and having a good walk round.
Cafe -really nice, food was freshly prepared and reasonably priced, lots of baby high chairs, very clean.
Garden centre, a lot bigger than it looks on the outside a very good selection especially being October. Staff were very friendly and helpful with our questions.
The stuff they have is very good price wise compared to other big garden centres
Lots of stuff for christmas on the shelves
We will definitely come back here for lunch and bits.

Review: Avoid the traditional breakfast. £13.45 for breakfast and a coffee. I don’t mind paying that, in fact I have breakfast out most Saturdays and pay that and a bit more sometimes. But as with other places I visit I was expecting a hearty meal to set me up for the day. Instead I got I rasher bacon, 1 (overcooked) sausage, 1 egg and one hash brown with beans and half a tomato. Frankly it looked like a kids meal. They are charging the same as other places with half as much food. AVOID if you want a proper cooked breakfast ☹️

Review: Visited today as a very keen Gardener and am very impressed with the quality and price of fantastic selection of extremely well cared for Shrubs and Bedding Plants. The cafe is pretty good too!. Longacres will be my go to place for plants and shrubs that I cannot grow myself. A five star garden centre.
